How to naturally increase T-count

No medication or injections needed!

Tired, foggy brain? lack of drive, hard time gaining mass? It could be your t levels.

“Hey Alexis, you can’t blog about this! you’re a woman!”

True that. However, I am a woman who prides herself on how well she takes care of her husband. I make sure he has good food to eat, clean clothes to wear, and I make sure when he tells me something just isn’t right with his bodies chemistry.. I listen, and then I dive into learning ways to fix it.

About 6 months ago, Jay told me his T-counts were low and this was causing everything from stealing his energy, and fogging his brain, to keeping him from being able to get a really good work out in and kept him from seeing any real results after working out.

Some of his friends recommended Testosterone supplements, and over the counter pills, medication and even injections. However, None of those things have any place in our home.

So I began my research.

1st what causes low T levels?

There is a myriad of things that can cause low testosterone levels- most of them I believe are to scare you into spending money on test after test after test. When I first started my research, the very first 2 results to pop up on google said “pituitary tumors” and “cancer”. Seriously? Yeah ok, enough fear mongering. Why is that no matter what symptom you google, it always ends up saying “you have cancer and are going to die”.

My 23 year old husband has neither of those things. Plus, I know low testosterone is INCREDIBLY common! Otherwise what would be the chance of 8 of his close friends ALL having low t counts and taking some type of Testosterone supplement or medication? So if tumors and cancer were TRULY the cause, our group of friends would be seriously UNLUCKY. However I was smart enough to see past that. Jay and his friends don’t have those horrible things. They suffer from common ailments that nearly all males in the US are suffering from right now.

Food for thought – You aren’t alone. T levels are steadily dropping off for everyone.

May I take this opportunity to tell you to watch a documentary called “The disapearing male” this free documentary is fantastic and very relevant to what is happening in today’s society. If you have 45 minutes, watch it! Here is the short version: The most basic and probably most common reasons for male infertility, low mobility and low testosterone is because of the constant bombardment of endocrine disrupting petrochemicals. for example BPA’s that line your canned food, the plastic that wraps majority of your food products, atrazine and the plastic fibers in your public water, these BPAs, phthalates, and other toxic environmental factors are disrupting your endocrine system, infecting us with a synthetic estrogen- throwing our hormones horribly out of whack! This is effecting almost all of our young men. Our men and boys testosterone levels & sperm counts are dropping off and sperm mobility has been declining steadily since the 1920s. This isn’t just you, It isn’t just Jay, it is nearly everyone. In 1992, in a publication that generated tremendous controversy, Carlsen drew attention to a 50-year decline in sperm parameters from 1938 to 1990 that was supported by two other subsequent publications. It is 2019 now, and I promise you it hasn’t gotten better.

So what do we do?

You have to make a few changes to avoid these toxins and you need to add a few things in to negate the effects that have already been established in your body.

I highly recommended both removing the toxic substances and adding in healthy hormone balancing substances.

1st:  You need to start taking 1-3 servings of high quality gold standard shilajit every day. Jay started with 3 servings for the first 2 weeks, then dropped to 2 servings for the next week, and now he alternates every other day between 1 and 3 servings of shilajit. This is Jay’s personal favorite, he takes 1 serving right after waking up in his coffee and his 2nd serving right before he works out. He has said that taking it before his workout gives him an energy boost similar to creatine. He has also noticed shorter recovery times and noticeable gain improvements. The shilajit is his favorite addition to his daily routine. This is the only company we currently trust to order from. I had to research to ensure this company was legit, their product was pure and only sourced from 16,000 ft in the Himalayas.

A substance more valuable to me than gold!

2nd. Ashwagandha. This is great not only for a testosterone boost, but for an immunity boost as well! This herb is safe for both men and women and helps to balance out the hormonal system. It’s classified as an “adaptogen,” meaning that it can help your body manage stress.(Too much stress can also be a factor in low T levels, so this one is a twofer)

Ashwagandha also provides all sorts of other benefits for your body and brain.

For example, it can lower blood sugar levels, reduce cortisol, boost brain function and help fight symptoms of anxiety and depression.

This is a great herb that we usually enjoy in the late afternoon or early evening in a tea.

for 1 serving of tea, simply mix 1 Tbsp of ashwagandha into 3/4 cup of hot water, 1/4 cup of milk of choice (We use organic almond) and a splash cinnamon and ginger powder. (The ginger helps your body with absorption.)   Mix well and enjoy!  (We order organic ashwagandha root powder from nuts.com at least once a month)

3. STOP DRINKING AND COOKING WITH TAP WATER!

Guys, this one is HUGE.

Seriously, you do not want to consume anything that is in your tap water.

This is the main water filtration device that we use in our home.

Get yourself a Berkey filter. They filter out all contaminants including fluoride and  Atrazine (if Atrazine was a wrestler the announcer would introduce him something like this: AAAAAAAAnnd in this corner we have “The sperm killer”, “The Destroyer of Testosterone!” weighing in at only 3 parts per billion (ppb), This herbicide is ready and willing to kill off your chances of reproducing!)

I don’t want to drink chemicals so we use the 2.5 gallon Big Berkey in our home. Some days I wish we had gotten a size up, but for a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 animals) we get through alright!

Personally, We filter our water TWICE. Once through the berkey and 2nd through a water alkalizer. The 2nd filter catches anything that could have snuck through, it also alkalizes and adds back healthy minerals into our water.

We bottle this water for on-the-go convenience, We also keep 2 pitchers filled in the kitchen for cooking and rinsing food.

4. Ditch canned food

Am I insane for suggesting this? no. A healthy body is #1. Life is a ride, even though none of us get out alive the body we are in determines the quality of that ride. Bad body- bad ride. Good body- good ride.

How can you ditch canned food though?

Well, Either opt for food items that have been canned in glass jars. I do this from time to time!

option 2, you can can your own food. I’ll have a post showing you how soon! but for now you can check out Jennifer’s post at https://morningchores.com/how-to-can-food/ it pretty comprehensive! Canning is not as hard as you might think, but it also isn’t for everyone. So be realistic!

5. Avoid plastic packaged foods.

This one is both incredibly simple and sort of hard depending on where you live.

Jay & I have been blessed to live near bulk shopping options which means we can bring our own glass or fabric containers to the store and fill them with our purchases. This keeps us from buying mushrooms packaged in plastic, plastic wrapped broccoli, asparagus, bread, granola, etc. This cuts down on waste, and drastically reduces the amount of endocrine disrupters we are exposed to.

6. Keep your cell phone out of your pockets, and off your lap!

This is a MUST.  Your cell phone is emitting radiation which decrease a man’s sperm count as well as the quality and motility of their sperm, lower his testosterone count and potentially cause infertility. The solutions for this are simple:

A. If you don’t have a men’s shoulder bag, get one. Your phone needs to be kept off of your body and in a separate bag to minimize the negative effects. I bought Jay a small canvas shoulder bag and it looks really handsome on him in my opinion.

B. You need orgonite. This might sound “hippie-ish” but trust me the science is out there. Research into the  5G cell towers and you will understand exactly why I recommend this so highly. This helps to minimize the effects of radiation by changing it from negative to positive. You can also try to maximize time spent in places naturally high in positive Orgone energy. Some settings where a high concentration of POR can be found are: in the forest, near a waterfall, after a rain, in nature. Beautiful cumulus clouds are also a manifestation of POR as they generally point toward good weather, moving and evolving atmospheric currents.

Positive orgone radiation energy

You should also avoid places high in dangerous orgone radiation.

DOR is quite the opposite of POR: a high concentration of DOR can be found near nuclear plants, big cities, industrial zones, etc. Atmospheric stagnation such as slow moving fronts or cloudless clear blue skies lasting several days are also signs of concentrated DOR. You want to avoid these areas when possible.

Dangerous orgone radiation energy – Harmful to humans

I am not your one stop source for all the information available on orgone energy, It is something you should research yourself to fully understand the ins and outs of it. Research has been done using orgone energy where desert areas have been transformed back into thriving areas of life. That is pretty amazing if you ask me! anyway, all I can say from my experience however is that Jay & I notice benefits from using an orgone pendant.  (less headaches, less anxiety, less brain fog, especially at night or some reason).

7. No more cheap meat!

Sorry to break this to you, but you have to ditch any meat that has added hormones, antibiotics, steroids, was fed an unnatural diet, etc. Everything that is unnecessarily added  effects the nutritional properties of the food. You do not want to eat the synthetic hormones that are injected into those animals. It will cause your hormones to go out of whack- Kind of like how they are now! Otherwise you would not even be reading this post. The best quality meat you get shouldn’t cost you a penny (outside of the cost of ammo, arrows, maybe some gas, and your time in general). If you live somewhere that you can hunt, I highly recommend doing that! Not only is the quality so much better, you will also save a lot of money! I was Vegan once upon a time, and while it wasn’t the right choice for me long term, It did change my perspective on the quality of meat. Wild game is my first choice, grass fed/farm raised is my 2nd. Of course you need to do what is reasonable for you!

Quick solution: Only purchase HIGH QUALITY, GRASS FED, HORMONE & ANTIBIOTIC FREE, PASTURE RAISED meat! very important! Trust me, it tastes better, and it works with your body, not against it. It is worth the few extra dollars. The best place to purchase is usually at your local farmers markets!

Long solution: Go hunting, process your own meat, and dry it or store it in the freezer.

If you try out any of these tips, let me know in the comments or shoot me an email. Don’t be shy, I respond to every one I get!

Have you noticed any improvements in your T-count? Do you know of any other natural ways to increase T-Count that I missed in this post?

Drop me a line, I want to know what you think!

Until next time,

Live life simplified.

Alexis
